When we started in 2006 all we sold was porcelain-on-steel whiteboards and Snowman® markers – because schools wouldn’t consider anything less for their classrooms. Interactive whiteboards (IWB’s) were still a rare luxury and only suited to one operator. Today, we have a wide range of display solutions from glass to electronic to paper and handheld to whole walls. We’ve expanded into our fourth building and are still growing, but are still a trusted family business with the same values that our loyal customers appreciate. (IWB’s have come a long way too!) ALEX Distributors are now the NZ stockists for the exciting Smarter Surfaces range – innovative and versatile products that can transform any hard surface into dry-erase, magnetic, or both. Why? Because research continues to prove that handwriting and drawing encourage creativity and collaboration and reinforce learning better than digital tools and we’re committed to making New Zealand’s workspaces effective, creative and versatile and we want to help you make your message stick with your audience. Smarter Surfaces products are being used by global customers such as Microsoft, Google, Tesco, Coca-Cola, NASA, University of Sydney, West Point Academy and many more.
